A Guide to Picking Up and Returning Your Hired Equipment

As dedicated Event Hire Specialists, our goal is to help you make your event stylish, smooth, and unforgettable by providing the highest quality equipment possible. We take pride in the presentation of our products, and to maintain their quality and condition for your party, we have established a procedure along with a few necessary rules for compliance.

Customer Conditions for Hire Equipment

We want to make sure that your party will be a success; upon collection day, we ensure that your hired goods are spotless, organised, in good working order, and are ready for pickup. Here are the terms and requirements of collecting and returning hired goods to better take care and keep the beauty and cleanliness of our products.

What to Prepare upon Collection of Equipment

It depends on the size of your party and the kind of equipment you booked. Our customers must be self-sufficient in properly handling and managing hired equipment when loading or unloading them. For heavier equipment, such as gas cylinders and trestle tables, you must have extra hands to help you carry them, event hire equipment is often delicate and heavy.

To protect goods during transport, they must be transported using an enclosed carpeted vehicle, such as a van or a station wagon. They must be properly secured in place with straps and blankets as well.

Please have your current driver’s licence ready, as it is required to be presented upon collection of any hired equipment for security purposes.

Security Bonds apply to all of our equipment for hire that will be picked up by the customer. They are subject to a 10% surcharge on top of the standard fee.

What Are the Return Conditions?

As we have provided the party equipment in good order, we also expect them to be returned in the same excellent condition. With the exception of linen, hired goods must be returned must be cleaned, placed inside their containers, and neatly stacked. We will inspect and test them once they are brought to the collection point.

In case of equipment being returned dirty, we will charge cleaning fees. However, if goods are returned damaged due to neglect or misuse, these will not be waived by the cleaning cost and will incur additional fees. On the other hand, if the inspection goes well, we will cancel the Security Bond.

Please be responsible in returning hired goods on the pre-arranged date and time to avoid paying late fees.

What Are the Collection and Return Schedules?

For your convenience, our warehouse is open for you to pick up or return hired goods from 9:00 in the morning to 1.00pm in the afternoon on Fridays and Mondays unless pre arranged.
Should you collect or return equipment outside standard business hours, additional fees may apply.

If picking up equipment is not an ideal setup for you, you can choose to have the products conveniently delivered to the party location. Transport and labour fees will be added depending on the address, site conditions, schedule, and required equipment. For more information, contact one of our staff.
